What we grow
How does our garden grow? Luckily, our farm is blessed with an assortment of soil types. Our lettuce garden is a beautiful sandy loam, and our Market Garden is rich black earth; our fields we rent for organic cash crops are similar. We practice minimal tillage and utilize recyclable landscape fabric and cover crops for weed suppression and to minimize watering. Our irrigation system combines rain-water capture and a dependence on a dug well.
